본 논문은 서울대 통일평화연구원 통일의식조사 2018년과 2019년 조사 결과를 분석하여 통일, 북한, 대북정책 인식에 미치는 여러 영향요인들의 효과를 비교하여 분석하였다. 일반적인 통일과 북한에 대한 인식과 대북정책의 주요 이슈에 대한 인식으로 나누어 살펴봤다. 분석 결과, 첫째, 통일문제와 북한문제에 대한 인식은 한반도 정세의 변화 속에서도 장기적으로 형성되어온 개인의 성향을 보여주는 세대와 교육수준별 인식의 차이가 크지만, 직접적인 당파적 대결이슈에 가깝고 정권별 시기별로 달라지는 대북정책 이슈는 상대적으로 당파성 변수의 영향이 더 크다고 볼 수 있다. 둘째, 통일문제인식과 대북정책 인식에 있어서 유의미한 지역주의 인식 경향을 확인하였다. 셋째, 당파성 별로 중요하게 생각하는 통일, 북한, 대북정책 인식 이슈가 다르다. 넷째, 정세변화 속에서도 개인들의 기본인식의 변화는 크지 않고, 2019년에는 당파적 동원 경향이 나타났다. 북한 관련 인식의 경향을 올바르게 수렴할 수 있는 정책을 고민할 필요가 있다.

This paper aims to analyze whether there are similarities and differences in Koreans' perceptions about the Unification of Korea, North Korea, and South Korean Government's Policy to North Korea using the 2018, 2019 Unification Perception Survey. On the Analyzed result, first, this paper discovered that the effects of generation and level of education made significant effects on Koreans' perceptions about the Unification of Korea, North Korea. In contrast, partisanship had a substantial impact on the preferences of the Government's Policies on North Korea. Second, political regionalism has significant effects on Koreans' perceptions about the Unification of Korea and the South Korean Government's Policies on North Korea. Third, each partisanship has different significant correlational issues based on importance. Last, there is no little change of raw perceptions, and there is partisan mobilization in 2019 than 2018 despite a difference in security.
