본 연구는 북한 내 한류문화가 북한 주민들의 인식에 미치는 영향을 심층적으로 분석하였다. 북한이탈주민 의식조사 자료를 바탕으로 한류 문화 경험이 북한 주민들의 최고지도자에 대한 인식, 자본주의 도입에 대한 인식, 탈북 동기 등에 미치는 영향을 검증하였다. 분석 결과, 한류 문화 경험은 북한 주민들의 의식에 폭넓고 유의미한 영향을 미치고 있으며, 특히 성별, 연령, 소득수준과의 상호작용에 따라 이러한 한류 경험의 효과가 다르게 나타난다는 점이 확인되었다. 이 연구의 결과는 한류 문화의 북한 내 확산이 북한 주민들의 의식 변화와 향후 북한 주민들의 남한 문화 수용에 긍정적 요인으로 작용할 수 있음을 보여준다.

This study analyzes the impact of Hallyu in North Korea on the perceptions of North Koreans. Based on the data from the North Korean defectors' perceptions survey, this research examines the impact of Hallyu experience on North Koreans' perceptions of the supreme leader, perceptions of the introduction of capitalism, and motivation to defect. The results show that Hallyu experiences have a broad and significant impact on North Koreans' perceptions, and the interaction effects of these experiences vary by gender, age, and income level. The results of this study suggest that the spread of Hallyu in North Korea can play a positive role in changing North Koreans' perceptions and future social integration between North and South Korea.
