This research is focused on the current situation and issues of regional dialects in North Korean. since 2000, Regional dialects in North Korean may be summarized as follows. (1) New trends on dialectological research, (2) on – Intencification on General linguistic Research (3) appearance of Oral utterance materials (4) the spread of interest on the last period Goryeo dialect of Central Asia etc. Looking at the previous researches, it can be argued that the researches on Regional dialects in North Korean were biased on several local areas and had one-sided subjects and methods.
