Kim, Nam-cheon is a writer who examined creation and creation methodology in-depth. While his novels are mentioned in the literature history part of the Korean textbook in the 3rd year of Middle School curriculum, his works have almost not been contained in the literature textbook in the high school. This seems because he is a writer who went to North Korea and was a theorist and activist on the social realism. It is determined that it is proper to discuss on ‘attitude’ among the objective of literature education as his creation methodology and novels demonstrate realistic responsiveness and his rigorous pursuit of own identity in the realistic life. Accordingly, this study found out the process of his ‘literary argument’ in his creation methodology which was sorted out from the perspective of ‘stance.’ In addition, this study discussed ‘attitude’ of the literature scope which readers can make appropriation.
