The social security of North Korea is based on the article 27 of The Constitution of North Korea as following:Citizens are entitled to free medical care, and all persons who are no longer able to work because of old age, illness or a physical disability, the old and children who have no means support are all entitled to medical assistance. The right is ensured by free medical care, an expanding network of hospitals,sanatoria and other medical institutions, State social insurance and other social security systems. This is that the instruction of Kim Il-Seong was entirely reflected. And also The article 56 of The Constitution of North Korea says that The State shall consolidate and develop the system of universel free medical service, and consolidates the section doctor system and system of preventive madicine to protect peopie’s life and improve working people’s health. We are able to recognize that the social security of North Korea consists of social insurance, social security systems, and free medical care. North Korea has changed the provisions of the social security laws through establishment of the laws are Child Rights Act and Women’s Rights Act. It is needed to research of how to make the foundation of unified constitution. unified social security systems, and the possibility of admission of The Law of social security systems of North Korea so that it can be possible to unify the social security system berween South Korea and North Korea.
