In New understanding Korean history of before and after time of liberating from Japanese colony, New Right, the archetype of Modernism encounters Post-Modernism which claims dissolution and overcoming Modernism. What's the reason of this meeting even though New Right and Post-Modernism are the opposite?This article is focused on cutting off their collusion as detecting and exposing their contact point. Especially, This article keeps an eyes on their relations as ideology of Anti-North Korea. Because this ideology is the sole base of New-Right and the conservatives in South Korea, I look to Post-Modernism's collusion on ideology of Anti-North Korea used of reinforcing the conservatives in South Korea and their ideas. This article studies books by the persons who put in their articles in New understanding Korean history of before and after time of liberating from Japanese colony. One is Kimura Mitshiko and the other is Hyung Ki Shin who studies North Korea's literature on the view of Post-Modernism. First, they has their common points on considering before and after time of liberating and Japanese colony are collinear. Kimura Mitshiko relates North Korea's invasion preparation and economic development in Japanese colony, whereby he emphasis his view that South Korea could be success by using Japanese colony's inheritance as growth engines of economy, but North Korea failed by using Japanese colony's inheritance as invasion preparation. His study is used by New Rights as means for attesting to North Korea's economic crisis and belligerence. Hyung Ki Shin critics on Modernity in both Japanese colony and before and after time of liberating for overcoming Modernity. He insists, modern national state is based on suppression and violence, as formation process of nation and people in North Korea after liberation is realized process of Modernity's oppression. As his Modernity criticism is abstract and makes unilinear connection of Japanese colony and before and after time of liberating, he disregard an essential difference on inside of modernity despite his purpose in modernity criticism. Modernity criticism to the exclusion of historicity could not any way without denying and deconstructing modernity itself. This view is having to rethink their view as they can provide room for embracing subject needed to be denied totally. Second, They encounter on the spot of post-nationalism. As the conservatives in South Korea fail to make their power themselves and have their own contents without help of powerful nations, they could not have any historical consciousness that is distinguished base of the conservatives. For that reason, New-Right have nothing to do but critic nationalism and find their authenticity from Anti-communism and Anti-North Korea. Although it is valuable that post-nationalism critics nationalism by its attributes which is closed and exclusive, simplification that totalitarianism is inevitable conclusion of nationalism(Hyung Ki Shin) blurs our point distinguishing the subject of criticism. Eventually, this standpoint can brings paradoxical results that historical context is eliminated, and totalitarianism having to be totally denied is braced.
