The purpose of this study was to find out correlation and predictors of marital adjustment of North-South intercultural couples. This survey was conducted on 110only North Korean spouse with questions on socio-demographic characteristics,psychological stress and trauma, marital satisfaction. The influence of these variables was analysed. Result indicated that perceived predictors from the North spouse for marriage adjustment were affected with age, sex, living period in the South, chronic disease, family income, marriage experience in the North or the China, acculturative stress, marriage satisfaction by hierarchic regression solution. Finally, characteristic s of marriage adjustment program and mental health service for North Korean refugees couple were discussed.
