[학술논문] 2025년 6월 현재, 개성중계소 직접 수신을 통해 확인한 북한의 지상파 디지털 방송 현황
본 연구는 북한 지상파 디지털 방송의 기술적 특성을 분석한 최초의 사례로, 정보 제한과 검증의 어려움 속에서도 ITU MIFR 데이터와 개성중계소에서 직접 수신한 신호 분석을 통해 시스템 구조를 규명하였다. 북한은 DVB-T2 방식을 채택하고 있으며, 전국에 약896개의 송중계소를 운영 중이다. 개성에서 수신된 신호는 8MHz 대역폭을 사용하며, 다양한 전송 파라미터와 비표준 MPEG-2 TS패킷 구조가 확인되었다. MPEG-2 TS 분석 결과, 총 4개 채널이 송출되며, H.264/AVC 비디오와 MPEG-1 Layer II 오디오 코덱이사용되고 있다. 북한의 디지털 전환은 평양 중심의 단일 방송 체제에서 전국 단위의 다채널 체제로의 전환과 송신 전력 절감을 통한에너지 효율화가 목적임을 시사한다. 본 연구는...
