[학술논문] 중국의 군사력 증강 평가와 우리의 대응방향
이 글은 급속히 증강되고 있는 중국의 군사력을 평가하고 우리의 대응방향을 제시하고자 함을 목적으로 한다. 중국은 미국의 “전략적 재균형(strategic rebalance)”에 대해 어떻게 반응하고 있는가? 중국의 국방정책과 군 현대화 방향은 무엇인가? 구체적으로 중국의 각 군은 현대화를 어떻게 추진하고 있으며, 이를 어떻게 평가할 수 있는가? 중국의 군사력 증강에 따라 나타나는 각 쟁점별로 한국의 정책방향은 무엇인가? 이것이 이 글이 다루는 주요 항목이 된다. 전작권 전환 이후 주한미군의 전략적 유연성이 한중간의 주요한 쟁점이 될 수 있다. 중국은 미국이 ‘전략적 재균형’을 추구하면서 한반도에 주둔하는 미군이 자국의 안보이익을 침해한다고 주장하며 한국정부에 주한미군
