[학술논문] State Ideology and Language Policy in North Korea: A Critical Discourse Analysis of North Korea’s Print Media
북한의 언어정책은 김일성의 주도로 60년 넘게 체계적이고 성공적으로 진행돼 왔다. 언어정책의 통일성과 그 규모로 볼 때 북한은 세계 언어정책 역사에서 유례를 찾아보기 힘든 경우다. 이 연구는 북한 언어정책의 이런 성공에 북한 언론의 역할이 크다고 보고, 특히 북한 신문이 언어 정책 및 언어에 관한 사상을 지면을 통해 어떤 내용과 방법으로 전달했는지를 비판적 담화분석과 코퍼스를 이용해 분석했다. 연구방법으로는 1998년부터 2004년 사이에 발간된 노동신문을 비롯한 북한의 네 가지 신문으로부터 구축된 코퍼스 자료에서 '언어'라는 단어를 검색했을 때 신문기사가 어떤 주제를 전달하는 지를 범주화했다. 분석 결과, 검색어 ‘언어’와 관련해서 ‘단일민족-단일언어 사상’이

[학술논문] 공중 연동과 대화형 저널리즘에 관한소셜 뉴스 사이트 분석: 레딧의 ‘북한뉴스’ 서브레딧을 중심으로
이 연구는 소셜 뉴스 사이트인 레딧(Reddit)의 서브레딧, ‘북한뉴스’(North Korea News)에 공중들이 올린 기사들의 주제와 주요 정보원, 기사의 유형, 공중이 연동되는 방식을 분석함으로써 소셜 뉴스 커뮤니티에서 어떠한 북한뉴스들이 생산, 유통되는지를 규명하고자 하였다. 분석 결과 ‘북한뉴스’ 서브레딧에는 북한의 대외관계 기사들을 다룬 정치뉴스가 가장 많았으며 다음이 핵/미사일 관련 뉴스, 북한의 주민생활상을 다룬 사회뉴스 순으로 나타났다. 글의 형식은 대부분이 언론사의 기사를 단순 연결시킨 링크포스트 형식이었으며 주요 내용은 주류 언론사의 기사들이었다. ‘북한뉴스’에서 다뤄진 국가들로는 정치 분야에서는 남한과 일본, 미국 관련...
