[학술논문] 북한 여성과 통일한국의 양성평등 과제
북한의 양성평등은 향후 남북한 통합과정에서 사회통합의 중요한 장애요인으로 작용할 가능성이 적지 않다. 상이한 이념과 체제하에서 장기간 생활했던 남북한은 현실생활에서 각각의 고유한 젠더(gender) 인식을 보편적인 생활양식으로 제시할 경우 통일한국 주민들의 사회통합은 요원할 것이다. 전통적인 가부장적 권위사회와 사회주의의 마초이즘(machoism)이 복합적으로 결합된 북한 주민의 남성우위 인식은 남한 국민들과 심각한 갈등을 야기할 가능성이 적지 않다. 본 연구는 남북한의 양성평등의 간극을 좁히는 것이 통일한국의 사회통합에 바람직하다는 문제의식에서 출발했다. 본 연구는 미래 한반도의 사회통합에 대비하는 차원에서 북한의 양성평등 실태와 의식을 실증적으로 조사하고 대응책을 제시하고자 한다. 탈북여성 대상의 조사결과는...
