[학술논문] 초국적 공간에서 북한 여성의 노동과 재현의 정치 : 젠더; 인종; 계급의 교차와 ‘북한적인 것’의 구성
이 논문은 해외 북한 식당에 파견된 북한 여성 노동자들의 노동과 공연, 방문객들과의 상호작용들을 탐구하면서, 초국가적 장소에서 젠더, 인종, 민족, 계급이 교차하는 권력 구조 하에 어떻게 북한적인 것들이 구성되고 있는지 해석하였다. 해외 북한 식당에서 파견 여성 노동자들은 북한 음식을 판매하면서 직접 무대 공연도 하고 있다. 주요 소비자들은 제3국 현지인만이 아니고 남한 사람들, 다른 아시아 국가들과 서구에서 온 방문객들이다. 해외 북한식당에서는 북한 여성 노동자와 방문객이 생산자-소비자이자 공연의 배우-관객의 관계를 수행하면서 정치적이고 문화적으로 ‘북한적인 것들’을 구성하고 있다. 첫째, 해외 북한 식당에서는 ‘소수의 남성 지배인-다수의 여성 노동자’ 가부장적 구조...
