를 중심으로－ 재일조선인 1세 여성에 관한 다큐멘터리 필름 <HARUKO>에서 아들 김성학은 자신이 징용으로 일본에 왔다고 말하는 어머니에 대해서, 법률이 생기기 전에는 징용이라는 것이 없었고, 따라서 어머니 정병춘은 자발적으로 일본에 온 것이라고 주장한다. 그는 역사에 남아 있는 공식기억과 법률이라는 증거에 기반하여 어머니 정병춘이 자신의 삶을 거짓으로 증언하고 있다고 강하게 비판하고 있다. 그러나 재일 1세들의 경험이 가로새겨진 여러 가지 맥락들에 주의를 기울여 그 의미를 올바르게 이해하려는 시도는 의미 있는 것이다. 국가의 공식기억 앞에서 침묵당한 서발턴으로서 재일 1세의 기억을 복원하고 그들을 포스트식민적 주체로 호명하고자 하는 기획이 이러한 목소리에 담겨져 있다고 할 수 있을 것이다. 그러나 정병춘/가나모토...

[학위논문] <굿 비즈니스, A Good Business> : 탈북 다큐멘터리에서 여성 캐릭터 역할 변화에 관한 연구
...물론이고 일본 미국 유럽 등에서 많은 관심을 받고 있다. 탈북자를 소재로 한 몇몇 다큐멘터리들은 이들의 현실을 고스란히 보여준다. 탈북자의 비극을 재현하는 다큐멘터리에서 메인 캐릭터는 여성인 경우가 많은데 남한에 정착한 4만 명에 가까운 탈북자 가운데 여성의 비율이 71%라는 사실과 무관하지 않아 보인다. 일반적으로 탈북 여성들은 인신매매의 대상이 되거나 중국 농촌에서 강제적으로 대를 잇는데 활용되거나 온라인 채팅을 통한 성 매매에 내몰리는 등 수동적인 희생자로 인식된다. 탈북 여성에 대한 편견은 다큐멘터리는 물론 극영화 드라마 뉴스 등 미디어의 영향이 크다고 여겨진다.본 연구는 지난 10여 년 동안 제작된 탈북 다큐멘터리들 가운데 <천국의 국경을 넘다(Crossing Heaven’s...
