...that North Korea should transform its authoritarian regime toward democracy to achieve peace in the Korean Peninsula. While democracy is a desirable goal, there is always a possibility of, and vulnerability to war in the contemporary world. This research shows the merits and problems of democratic peace proposition in the Korean Peninsula from the standpoint of Christian ethicist Reinhold Niebuhr.
