The purpose of this study is to create basic data for the development of an integrated Korean dance curriculum by comparing and analyzing the characteristics of the recent North Korean dance curriculum with the South Korean dance curriculum. For the purpose;firstly;the South Korean dance curriculum and the North Korean dance curriculum were compared and analyzed;and secondly;the characteristics and implications of the North Korean dance curriculum were explored. In Section 2;the main methods of this study;literature research and in-depth interviews are described. In Section 3;the South Korean dance curriculum and the North Korean dance curriculum were compared. In Section 4;the characteristics of the recently revised North Korean dance curriculum were discussed in terms of changes;emphasis;and restrictions. The last section consisted of this summaries and suggestions from subsequent studies.
