본 연구에서는 기숙형 대안학교의 탈북 교사의 시각으로 탈북 부모와 자녀의 애착관계를 질적연구로 살펴보았다. S시에 소재한 탈북아동의 기숙형 대안학교에서 사감교사로 재직 중인 탈북교사 2인의 시각으로 탈북아동이 부모와의 상호작용을 통해서 본 부모-자녀 애착관계를 심층면담으로 연구하였다. 연구결과로는 1) 북한에서 영아-부모와의 애착관계는 자녀양육의 주체가 정부중심의 탁아소에서 기아 등의 경제난과 ‘박살난 탁아소’가 되면서 어머니로서 전환되었으며 어머니-자녀와의 애착관계 형성은 남한과 크게 다르지 않다고 보았다. 2) 중국에서 출생한 아동이 주류인 제3국에서 출생한 아동인 경우는 위기상황으로 애착관계 형성에 어려움이 있을 것으로 사료된다. 다수가 한 부모가정으로 부모는 자녀와의 관계에서 월1회에 그치는 간헐적인 접근성과 자녀의 요구에 둔감하며 탈북민으로서의 정체성을 부정하고 서먹한 방문 등 불안정애착 관계를 보여주고 있었다. 3) 이에 대한 기독교교육적 방향으로 시사하는 바는 우선적으로 탈북 부모와의 애착을 잘 형성할 수 있는 방안을 적극적으로 모색할 이유가 있다. 탈북 어머니들을 위한 교회적 지원은 따뜻한 보살핌과 자녀양육에 필요한 부모교육이 우선시 되어야 하며 교회공동체 내 가정결연사업 등의 네트워크를 준비하여야 한다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the attachment relationship between North Korean refugee parents and children. The subjects of this study were monitored by two North Korean refugee teachers living in a boarding school for North Korean children in S city. They collected data through in-depth interviews and came to the following conclusions. First. for the subject group of refugee children born in North Korea displayed no difference in parent-child attachment relationship after coming to South Korea. The relationship between the child and the parent was developed in the North as a result of a broken daycare system and the famine. Second, the subject group of refugee children born in a third country, mainly China, had hardly built secure attachments with their parents. The parents, many who are single, have a difficult time adjusting to life in the South and rarely come to visit their children in the boarding school. The purpose of this study is to provide basic data to establish a strategy for North Korean refugees in the future and to create a system of support for more effective family ministry in Christian education.
