Integration of South and North Korean language education(SNKLE) is expected to stabilize the language identity of the overseas, function as a model of economic cooperation between two Koreas, and bring about the effect of cultural diplomacy. As a result, this policy is expected to overcome the division and contribute to social development. We analyze the way in which the ideologies work in the back of the policy demand as follows, nationalism, pluralism, and capitalism. We summarized these discussions and concluded that “We develop the contents of the integrated SNKLE that reflects the language culture of the South, the North, and overseas, and disseminate them to people who use other languages as L1.” And this goal can be achieved by pursuing the following directions. The integrated policy of SNKLE is ① to dissolve South and North Korean language in one ② to accept various varieties ③ to suggest a cooperative model. In addition, it is ④ to promote the opening of the media, ⑤ to restructure the language education market, and ⑥ to promote discourse struggle. Finally, we reviewed the types of relevant laws and institutions. As a result, we agreed the establishment of the language integration policy organization based on the Basic Law of the Korean language. And the integration policy of SNKLE can be promoted as a project of this institution. And it must be run by a government-sponsored private organization that can help with agreement between the South and the North. After the launch of the policy, a network such as the SNKLE Council should be established.
