The Eurasia Initiative Strategy is a plan to create a foundation for economic vitalization and job creation through economic cooperation among Eurasian countries. It also aims to ease the tension in the Korean Peninsula and form a basis for unification by inducing the opening up of North Korea through close collaboration with Eurasian countries. The Strategy was officially announced by the president of Korea at the Eurasia International Conference held in Seoul in October 2013. In sum, this study offered strategic implications for the expected effectiveness and development direction of the TKR-TSR, which is still in its nascent stage. It also highlights the importance of logistics infrastructures that can revive the once glorious Silk Road by improving the South–North Korean relationship. These implications are also applicable to private companies hoping to penetrate Mongolia and Central Asia ’s markets and serve as the foundation for logistics-related research from the viewpoint of the TKR-TSR, which is currently lacking.
