This study examines the discourse features in reading passages of revised North Korean high school English textbooks (NKHSETs). [학술논문] A Corpus-Based Comparative Analysis of Newspaper Coverage on China’s Human Rights Issues

한반도의 지정학적 위치는 대륙세력과 해양세력이 충돌하는 교차점으로 불안정한 구조가 형성되어 있어서 그동안 남북한의 분단과 함께 항상 주변 강대국들의 위협에 동시에 노출되었다. 이러한 환경에서 대한민국은 우선적으로 현실주의에 입각한 절대안보 관점에서 생존과 안정을 추구하는 대응전략을 구상할 수밖에 없는 것이 현실이다. 따라서 북한을 제외한 주변 국가 중 분쟁 가능성이 가장 높은 중국을 중심으로 전략환경을 평가해보았고 이를 토대로 미중간 분쟁과 일중간 분쟁이 한국에 미치는 영향을 분석하여 한국의 대응방안을 제시하였다. 또한 한중간의 분쟁과 전쟁시 중국이 한반도에 군사적으로 개입하는 경우에 한국이 중국에 대항하여 직접적으로 군사력을 어떻게 운용할 것인가에 대한 대응개념을 구체화시켜 제시하였다.
