[학술논문] Nationality as a Diplomatic Tool — Relationship between Japan and the two Koreas and the issues surrounding Zainichi Koreans

...and South Korean government, this paper demonstrates that the primary aim of deciding Zainichi Koreans’ nationality was a tool for both countries to achieve their political and diplomatic aims. Existing literature on Zainichi Koreans’ nationality has emphasized their identity; however, this paper highlights the complicated intersection between diplomacy and immigrants’ nationality.

[학위논문] 북한 기후변화 외교 연구, 1992-2022

이 논문의 목적은 북한이 지난 30여 년간 왜 기후변화 외교를 수행했는지, 어떤 방식으로 외교를 수행했는지 밝히는 것이다. 1992년 브라질 리우에서 열린 유엔환경개발회의(UNCED)를 기점으로 기후변화 외교를 시작한 북한은 개발도상국에 대한 지원이 부각된 교토체제에서 탄소중립이 강조된 신(新)기후체제까지 국제기후변화 체제에 적극 가담했다. 1990년대 대내외적 어려움에 직면한 북한은 국가 생존과 위신을 우선으로 하는 국가정체성을 기후변화 외교정책 결정 과정에 개입시켰다. 교토체제와 신기후체제를 마주하면서 국가정체성은 재생산되어 국가이익을 재조정했고, 상징적인 이득보단 재정‧기술‧에너지적 차원의 물리적인 이득에 중점을 둔 외교를 구사했다. 기후변화 체제 변화에 달라진 외교정책 결정 동인과
