[학술논문] 안보위협이 과거사 인식에 미치는 영향 : 한일 일본군 위안부 협상 타결에 관한 국내여론 분석

...일본의 역할 증대에 관한담론들은 종종 일본의 과거사 문제와 연동되어 제기되고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 북한으로부터의 안보위협이 위안부 합의를 바라보는 한국 국민들의 역사인식에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지에 대하여 분석하였다. 본 논문은 국내결집효과(rally’round the flag effect)와 보수정당의 안보분야에 대한 이슈소유권(issue ownership)으로 인하여 대북위협을 우려하는 국민일수록 한일간의 위안부 합의에 찬성하였음을 발견하였다. 또한 이러한 대북위협의 영향은정치적으로 보수적인 국민일수록 더욱 강하게 나타났다. 그러나 전반적인 한일 위안부 합의와 달리 소녀상 철거 문제에 관련해서는 전쟁발발 위협과 같이 대규모 위협을 우려하는 국민들만이 소녀상의 강제 철거에 동의하였음이드러났다.
