[학위논문] 북한이탈주민 현황과 문제에 관한 연구 : 인권적 차원에서의 지원 방안를 중심으로

본 논문은 최근 그 수가 급증하면서 사회적 관심을 모으고 있는 국내외 북한이탈주민의 지원 및 적응 문제를 인권적 차원에서 종합적으로 이해하고 현지조사(field study)를 비롯한 실증적 방법으로 분석하고 있다. 북한이탈주민의 발생에서 제3국에서의 체류를 거쳐 한국에 입국하고, 정착까지의 전과정이 긴밀히 연결된 하나의 과정임을 인식하고 이들에 대해 종합적이고 연계된 관점에서 지원 방안이 강구됨으로써 북한이탈주민들의 남한사회에의 성공적인 정착을 유도하는 것이 남북한 사회통합을 보다 용이하게 이룰 수 있다는 점에서 소중히 다루어져야 한다. 그러나 현재까지 북한 이탈주민에 대한 기존의 연구들은 대부분 이러한 과정들의 연결고리를 연구하지 못하고 개별적인 과정들로 분리하여 연구하였다. 국내에
