[학위논문] 탈냉전기 북한의 적(敵) 담론 : 외무성의 대미(對美) 위협 인식을 중심으로

본 연구는 탈냉전기 위기 극복 차원에서 이뤄진 북한의 적 담론 변화를 살펴보는 것을 목표로 한다. 외부에 대한 위협 인식은 내부결속을 높이는 수단 중 하나다. 이 연구는 북한이 대미 위협 인식을 강조함으로써 지배 권력의 정당성을 추구했다는 판단에서 출발한다. 연구의 핵심 분석 자료인 외무성 담화문(성명)에는 북한의 대외 인식 등이 담겨있다. 연구에서는 분석 자료에 나타난 대미 위협 인식 관련 용어와 사회적 맥락, 개념 등을 살폈다. 분석 기간은 탈냉전이 시작된 1989년부터 2017년까지다. 세부적으로 담론 1기(1989-1998)와 2기(1998-2008), 3기(2009-2017)로 구분했다. 분석 기간에 북한은 ‘우리식 사회주의’를 비롯해 ‘선군’
